Here are the Premier League players to have created the most chances this season.
Kieran Trippier surpasses Kevin De Bruyne as Bruno Fernandes draws level with the Manchester City star.
We’ve included the chances created in total as well as the per 90 in brackets to separate the ties. Thanks to Fotmob for the stats.
1) Bruno Fernandes (Manchester United): 108 (3.2)
“His quality of his balls into the box – if you’re a striker it’s a dream, you make some runs and he picks you out,” said Roy Keane. He absolutely does. He created 11 chances v Brighton and West Ham and none were taken. One of five was taken v Wolves. Phew.
2) Kieran Trippier (Newcastle): 104 (3.0)
Another four chances created v Arsenal but none have been taken in the last eight Newcastle games.
3) Kevin De Bruyne (Manchester City): 97 (3.7)
No longer the chances created king but his 16 assists put him five clear of Bukayo Saka in second. And miles clear here of…
4=) Martin Odegaard (Arsenal): 72 (2.2)
The creative leader behind Arsenal’s title tilt, before he was thoroughly put in his place against Manchester City.
4=) Pascal Gross (Brighton): 72 (2.2)
The German really has been a phenomenal signing and is somehow only 31. Long may he continue to be quietly brilliant and create a ludicrous number of chances for Brighton.
6) Bukayo Saka (Arsenal): 72 (2.1)
The first (and so far only) Premier League player this season to log double figures for both Premier League goals and assists.
7) James Ward-Prowse (Southampton): 72 (2.1)
He cold not keep the Saints in the Premier League on his own.
8) James Maddison (Leicester City): 67 (2.7)
Leicester City really would be f***ed without him.
9) Solly March (Brighton): 67 (2.2)
Reduced to a substitute’s role as a long season has caught up with his legs, but still created six chances in two sub appearances v Manchester United and Everton.
10) Trent Alexander-Arnold: 64 (2.2)
Alexander-Arnold 2.0 is loving his new role, with six assists in his last seven games after just two in his first 29 this season.
