Liverpool are among the clubs credited with an interest in signing AS Roma frontman Tammy Abraham in this summer’s transfer window.
Abraham, who has starred previously in the Premier League with Chelsea and Aston Villa, has his future in the Roma shirt subject to much speculation with the Serie A giants willing to cash in on him before the next season gets underway.
Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool, who are set to lose their long serving attacking stalwart Roberto Firmino come the summer, could be in the market this summer for a new No.9 as Klopp looks to bolster his squad after a disappointing campaign.
According to a report from the Spanish publication Fichajes, it is claimed that Liverpool are keeping tabs on the England international Abraham who also has Newcastle, Aston Villa and Chelsea chasing his signature.
The 25-year-old Abraham could provide Klopp and Liverpool with the firepower in the attacking third of the pitch but should Roma slap a big valuation on his head, the Reds are likely to look elsewhere for alternatives.
