Arsenal are allegedly in pole position to sign the 24-year-old Hammers star this summer. However, Bayern’s interest in the 41-capped England international will undoubtedly represent a problem for the Gunners.
Rice has firmly established himself as one of the very best central midfielders in world football over the past few years.
So it’s little wonder why so many top clubs want to sign him. And they don’t come much bigger than Bayern Munich do they…
Declan Rice is open to Bayern Munich move
Sky Sports reckon that Bayern Munich boss Tuchel has already spoken to Rice on the phone about a potential move to join the Bundesliga giants in the summer.
And it’s suggested that Dec is open to the idea of joining Bayern before the start of next season.
The Athletic recently described him as an ‘elite’ midfielder and they’re absolutely spot on – he’s one of the very best around, if not the best in my opinion.
Losing Rice to another Premier League club would be really hard to take. However, I could live with him moving out to Germany.
It would mean that he wouldn’t play against us and he’d have a great chance of winning numerous trophies over the course of the next decade.
Bayern Munich are allegedly ready to pay around £95 million for Declan Rice this summer, according to the Mirror. Now, whilst that isn’t anywhere near the £120 million that West Ham are demanding for Dec, there’s a lot to be said about selling him to a foreign club.
Maybe £90 million odd plus someone like Ryan Gravenberch would do the job for us nicely.
Look, in an ideal world Declan Rice would stay at West Ham. However, we all know that’s very unlikely to happen. The best possible scenario for us will be him moving abroad this summer, and it seems as though that’s exactly what could happen.
