West Ham target Daichi Kamada is now being linked with a free transfer to Liverpool.
Liverpool have entered the race to sign West Ham target Daichi Kamada from Eintracht Frankfurt for absolutely nothing in the summer transfer window.
The Hammers are allegedly keen to bring the 26-year-old to the London Stadium.
However, with Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp keen to bring the 28-capped Japan international to Anfield, David Moyes will clearly have his work cut out.
If the Reds come knocking for Kamada, it may well be hard to prevent him from moving to Merseyside…
Bad news for West Ham as Liverpool could sign 26-year-old for nothing in the summer transfer window
CalcioMercato.it claim that the Reds are trying to sign Daichi Kamada but face strong competition from AC Milan.
I really think Moyes should have pushed harder to sign the Japanese ace last summer. We all saw just how good he was first hand during our two-legged Europa League semi-final clash with Eintracht Frankfurt last season. The 26-year-old would add so much to the West Ham side.
Total Football Analysis describe him as an ‘incredible’ player. He is an attacking midfielder by trade but can also operate on the left wing.
The Japanese ace has bagged 16 goals and seven assists in 47 games for Frankfurt this season (Transfermarkt).
Kamada has pace in abundance and possesses exceptional technical ability. He has a really impressive work-rate as well, and never shies away from the physical battle.
The Eintracht Frankfurt star seems to be absolutely tailor made for Premier League football. And the chance to sign him on a free transfer is one that the Hammers really should have been all over.
However, it now seems like Kamada will end up at either Liverpool or AC Milan in the summer transfer window, and that’s really bad news for West Ham in my opinion.
