Liverpool is unlikely to pursue a transfer for Manu Kone during the summer window as the manager Jurgen Klopp prefers alternative options in that position.
The Reds have been proactive in strengthening their squad for the upcoming season, securing the signing of Alexis Mac Allister soon after the conclusion of the previous campaign.
As a result, a move for Manu Kone is deemed highly unlikely by Liverpool.
Liverpool is facing the departure of James Milner, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, and Naby Keita as free agents, creating a need for new signings to fill their positions.
Recent reports have linked French duo Manu Kone and Khephren Thuram as the Red’s top transfer targets.
However, transfer expert Florian Plettenberg suggests that Kone is not among Liverpool’s highest priority targets. The club is believed to have other players in mind for recruitment as they seek to strengthen their squad.
News #Koné: Been told a transfer to #LFC is very unlikely. Yes, he’s on a shortlist because of his interesting profile but not a hot transfer target for Liverpool at this stage.

There are reports suggesting that the chances of Manu Kone joining Liverpool are slim, despite Borussia Monchengladbach being open to selling the midfielder.
The German side is reportedly seeking a fee higher than £25 million, which falls within Liverpool’s budget. However, it seems that Klopp’s side is more interested in exploring other options, with Khephren Thuram still being considered.
