Signing a top-class central midfielder will be the biggest priority for Hammers manager David Moyes this summer, with Declan Rice set to leave the London Stadium.
And it seems as though Musah could be the man for the job…
West Ham now looking to replace Declan Rice with Yunus Musah
The Hammers have already approached the Valencia ace’s agents according to a report from Estadio Deportivo.
I think Musah would be a stunning acquisition for West Ham this summer.
The United States international was absolutely brilliant for his country out in Qatar during the World Cup. He is a real powerhouse of a central midfielder and would be a superb long-term replacement for Declan Rice.
He has energy, dynamism, pace, power, physicality and athleticism in abundance, In other words, he’s ideally suited to the robust and intense nature of Premier League football.
The American is a central midfielder by trade and has all of the physical attributes needed to perform the box-to-box role.
Described by The Daily Mail as a ‘powerhouse’, the Valencia ace will surely go on to become an elite midfielder, I have no doubts in my mind about that.
Yunus Musah is an absolute powerhouse of a player and would take West Ham to another level in my opinion.
Valencia allegedly want €25 million (£21.4 million) for the midfielder but as things stand, the Hammers are prepared to pay around €20 million (£17.2 million) according to Estadio Deportivo.
I firmly believe that the owners should just cough up the £21.4 million for Musah – it will look like an unbelievable bargain in a few year’s time.
