Liverpool could challenge Real Madrid for signing Kylian Mbappe next summer which is when the Paris Saint-Germain is likely to be on the move.
Mbappe has reportedly conveyed to the PSG top brass that he wants out at the end of the 2023-2024 campaign and speculation is rife over Europe’s top clubs keen to make an initial approach for the World Cup-winning forward.
According to a report from CBS ( via The Times), it is claimed that Real Madrid are hopeful of finally moving in for the Frenchman and bringing him to the Santiago Bernabeu but Liverpool could hamper their plans on the transfer front.
Jurgen Klopp’s Reds have long been credited with an interest in the former AS Monaco talent, however, pricing concerns have been a roadblock in tabling a bid for Mbappe who could be keen on a move to the Premier League in the future.
Liverpool are tipped as the more likely option than Chelsea or Manchester United to go head to head with Real for Mbappe although the Spanish giants will be tipped as the frontrunners for the PSG superstar.
