And with Hammers boss David Moyes keen to bring a replacement for Declan Rice into the London Stadium, it’s little wonder as to why.

West Ham in talks to bring Denis Zakaria back to London, but there’s a big problem
The Hammers are currently in talks to sign the 26-year-old Swiss ace. However, Juventus’s £17 million asking price is proving to be problematic, with West Ham reluctant to meet those demands.
Zakaria is a defensive midfielder by trade but crucially as far as West Ham are concerned, he can play in the centre-back position as as well.
The Swiss international is incredibly dynamic and energetic. He is a tenacious tackler and has the kind of physicality needed to succeed in the Premier League.
If he was given a regular run of games by David Moyes at the London Stadium, I’m certain that he would prove his true worth.
Former BSC Young Boys coach Uli Forte labelled him as an incredible player with exceptional technical ability (Mondo Napoli).
Despite his lack of game-time at Chelsea, I believe £17 million for Denis Zakaria would represent value good value for West Ham.
And for that kind of money, Moyes should not hesitate to bring him to the London Stadium.
