Newcastle United are now in for long-term West Ham transfer target Youssef En-Nesyri.
According to the Sun (transfer feed June 25th, 5am), Newcastle have asked Sevilla to name their price for Youssef En-Nesyri – a player who West Ham have been trying to sign for two-and-a-half years now.

In fact, West Ham have chased the Sevilla hitman since January 2021.
David Moyes needs to sign a new striker this summer, with Hammers trio Michail Antonio, Danny Ings and Gianluca Scamacca all facing uncertain futures with the club.
It seems as though the Scot might have to forget about En-Nesyri though…
Newcastle do West Ham a big favour by reportedly telling Sevilla to name price for Youssef En-Nesyri
With the Sun claiming that the Toon are very keen to sign the Moroccan, the Hammers might well have a lucky escape.
Sevilla are allegedly demanding around €40 million (£34 million) for En-Nesyri (Fichajes).
The striker scored just eight goals in 31 La Liga games for Sevilla this season just gone. He only scored five in 29 in the 2021/22 campaign as well (Transfermarkt).
He was really bad during the two games that we had against Sevilla in the Europa League the season before last.
And the 26-year-old just doesn’t seem to have the attributes needed to succeed in the ferociously paced Premier League – the just seems somewhat lightweight to me.
So if Newcastle really do want to sign Youssef En-Nesyri this summer, I believe they will be doing West Ham a big favour.
The Moroccan is not the man for the job at the London Stadium in my opinion. Moyes should be targeting someone with more strength, height, pace and power this summer, as far as I’m concerned.
On his day, he’s actually a very good player. He has been described as a ‘brilliant striker’ by well-renowned football website Sport Mob.
However, he’s just not suited to the way we play, or Premier League football. Newcastle signing him would be a blessing in disguise for us.
