West Ham United goalkeeper Alphonse Areola is a reported summer transfer target for Fiorentina.
According to Corriere dello Sport (print edition June 27th, page 20), Alphonse Areola could leave West Ham to join Fiorentina in the summer transfer window.

Hammers boss David Moyes clearly still favours Lukasz Fabianski as his number one, and the Scot has also been linked with a move to sign Giorgi Mamardashvili from Valencia.
So maybe the French World Cup winner could be heading for an exit…
Report makes big Alphonse Areola claim as West Ham United’s summer transfer window heats up
Corriere dello Sport claim that Fiorentina want to sign the Frenchman from the Hammers.
I feel like selling the 30-year-old to the Italian side this summer could be a big mistake from West Ham.
Breaking The Lines have described Areola as a ‘brilliant’ goalkeeper.
Areola is a top-class goalkeeper in my opinion, and he could be our number one stopper for the next seven or eight years.
The 30-year-old has conceded just 36 goals in 41 appearances for the Hammers and kept 18 clean sheets in the process (Transfermarkt).
Alphonse Areola joined West Ham on loan from Paris Saint-Germain in the summer of 2021, and then made his move to the London Stadium a permanent one in 2022 for around £8 million (The Athletic).
However, it seems as though his stay in East London could be a short one. If Fiorentina make a firm offer for the 6ft 5in goalkeeper this summer, I really can’t see Moyes fighting too hard to keep him unfortunately.
