Premier League side Chelsea are preparing to make an offer for Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic this summer, according to reports.
The Serbia international swapped Fiorentina for Juventus in January 2022 for €80m with reports Arsenal were also interested in his signature at that time.
Juventus, who have won nine of the last 12 Scudettos, came fourth in his first season at the club in 2021/22 and now they won’t be playing in the Champions League next campaign after a seventh-placed finish last term.
Things haven’t quite gone to plan for Vlahovic, and his own form has been disappointing too, with the Serbian scoring 23 goals in 63 appearances in his 18 months at the club.
Manchester United and Newcastle United have been linked with the former Fiorentina man in recent weeks too but Fabrizio Romano recently dismissed the latter’s interest in the striker.
Romano wrote in his Caught Offside column: “Despite working hard on the Italian market in recent times, one player Newcastle United are not currently looking at is Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic. I don’t know if Eddie Howe appreciates the Serbian or not, but as of right now, there is nothing concrete to these links.

“All of Newcastle’s focus is on their deal to sign Sandro Tonali from AC Milan. The midfielder will be officially unveiled as a new Magpie in the coming days.”
And now Spanish publication Fichajes claims Juventus are hoping ‘make cash’ from the sale of Vlahovic this summer with Chelsea preparing a ‘great madness of the market’.
The Old Lady ‘will begin to listen to offers’ for the 23-year-old and Chelsea have ‘shown the most interest to date’ with Vlahovic ‘liked a lot in the Stamford Bridge offices’.
Chelsea will be able to offer around €80m (£69m) for his services and ‘the Premier League seems the final destination’ for Vlahovic with the Blues having ‘the economic potential to make a super squad’.
It is also understood that Mauricio Pochettino’s side are now ‘best positioned’ for another attacker with Sport insisting that Santos youngster Angelo Gabriel is now on their list.
The report adds that Gabriel, whose future ‘points to Chelsea’, is ‘already preparing’ to move to the Premier League in the summer with the Blues able to buy the winger for €15m with the plan to loan him out elsewhere next season.
