The Independent claims West Ham are now zoning in on three players as their prime targets for the summer window.
As reported earlier this month, West Ham’s plans were always going to heavily evolve around the sale of Declan Rice in the summer transfer window.
With a British record £105m move to Arsenal now edging ever closer, the Hammers will soon be focusing on making signings of their own.
As fans will be aware, West Ham have been linked with a plethora of players as replacements for Rice and in other key positions which sorely need strengthening.
Until now David Moyes has been most consistently linked with Harvey Barnes, James Ward-Prowse, Joao Palhinha, Viktor Gyokeres, Jonathan Tah and one or two others.

But it seems the Hammers have pivoted on who their priority signings will be if a new report is to be believed.
The Independent claims West Ham are now zoning in on three players as their prime targets for the summer window.
The newspaper – which also cites soures at The Mirror – claims Moyes now has his sights firmly fixed on Man United outcast Harry Maguire, Juventus and Chelsea flop Denis Zakaria and powerhouse Everton midfielder Amadou Onana.
“West Ham United are reportedly interested in three players this summer to help fill the void left by Declan Rice’s expected departure, with the club said to be targeting England international Harry Maguire,” The Independent reports.
“The Mirror says the club are also interested in Everton midfielder Amadou Onana and Juventus midfielder Denis Zakaria.”

Onana and Maguire would undoubtedly be fantastic additions for West Ham. And both have superb leadership qualities, which will be sorely needed following the departures of Mark Noble and Rice in consecutive summers.
The jury would be out on Zakaria, who has flopped in poor Juve and Chelsea sides. But for a rumoured £15m – he has all the attributes to suggest he may be worth taking a punt on.
Earlier this week a journalist claimed Onana would welcome a move to West Ham after it emerged Everton need to raise funds to satisfy FFP rules.
West Ham have been sporadically linked with Maguire over the last year but Spurs and Newcastle are also interested while the player himself is said to want to stay at Old Trafford.
