Chelsea winger Christian Pulisic is reportedly edging closer towards the exit door after snubbing a move to French club Lyon.
The American winger joined Chelsea from Borussia Dortmund in 2019 for a fee in the region of £57.6million.
It would be fair to say he has nowhere near lived up to that huge price tag and the Blues are now reportedly willing to part ways with the ex-Dortmund youngster for around £20m.
There is a mass exodus of first-team players at Stamford Bridge this summer following a flurry of new faces joining the club, with the likes of Mateo Kovacic, Kai Havertz and Cesar Azpilicueta securing exits.
Pulisic is likely to be the next Chelsea man out of the door after an underwhelming stint in west London.
There has been interest from Lyon and Serie A giants AC Milan, with Pulisic prioritising a move to the latter.

Milan were playing hardball with Chelsea, offering around £12m, when they wanted closer to £20m.
This allowed Lyon to swoop in and put £21m on the table, which the Londoners were willing to accept. However, the 24-year-old reportedly ‘informed’ Mauricio Pochettino he would not be moving to the Ligue 1 side.
With his mind set on a move to Italy, it was up to the Rossoneri to agree a fee with the Blues.
And it now looks like they have done just that. According to Calciomercato journalist Daniele Longo, there is now a ‘total agreement’ in place between the two clubs.
‘Including bonuses’, Milan will pay €20million (£17m) for Pulisic, who has a Croatian passport, meaning he will not be registered as a non-EU player.
This means Milan will aim to continue talks to sign Villarreal’s Nigerian winger Samuel Chukwueze, with Pulisic expected to sign a four-year contract at the San Siro.
Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano later added that the transfer is ‘imminent’.
He wrote on Twitter: “AC Milan and Chelsea, in direct contact now to close Christian Pulisic deal on a permanent move.
“Deal closer than ever and imminent, now checking on final details.”
Pulisic made 30 appearances across all competitions in 2022/23, scoring once and providing two assists.
