Football League World claim that the Hammers now have a major advantage over the Toon in the race for the Leicester star’s signature.

That’s because Barnes wants to move to London rather that Tyneside.

If this is indeed true, Moyes needs to act and get a deal done for the Leicester star asap. Newcastle are in for Moussa Diaby as well, so that may play into the Hammers’ hands too.

Harvey Barnes is an elite left winger and would take West Ham to a whole new level entirely in my opinion, so beating Newcastle to his signature will be of huge importance to us.

Barnes is a stunning player, and was once labelled as ‘unbelievable’ by Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp (Metro).

The Leicester star is powerful when running with the ball, has incredible pace and plays in a direct manner that we desperately need at West Ham.

He has a real end product as well, with 13 Premier League goals to his name last season for Leicester.

Leicester want around £35 million or the 25-year-old according to The Daily Mail. What an incredible deal that would be for West Ham.

And judging by the latest claims, the Hammers are still well in the race to sign Harvey Barnes from Leicester this summer.
