West Ham want to change the playing field with Juventus for Denis Zakaria
The Hammers want to take the Switzerland International on loan before signing him for £18 million next summer.
That’s more than £3 million than Juve are willing to accept and on top of that, the Italian club want to sell him permanently this summer.
It seems as though there is a lot more negotiating to be done before Denis Zakaria is a West Ham player.
The powerful Swiss midfielder would be a very solid addition for the Hammers, as long as Moyes brings in an elite DM to play alongside him.
Zakaria is in no way good enough to replace Declan Rice on his own.
If Deniz Zakaria is the only midfield signing West Ham make this summer, there will be a mutiny at the London Stadium.
The Hammers simply have to be more ambitious with our summer recruitment.
