Tottenham are allegedly keen to sign Scott, but West Ham are not letting them have a free run at the talented youngster.
And when speaking to Last Word on Spurs, Sheth insisted that the Hammers are still battling the north London outfit to sign the Bristol City starlet:
“I did, the other one that I have heard with Alex Scott is West Ham, that has come throughout the window and they still maintain an interest. With Tottenham the priority just now is to recruit those two central defenders, he wants to improve those areas while also looking at what he’s got.”
Scott is a sensational young talent, and I have no doubts in my mind that he’ll go on to become one of the very best midfielders in England over the next five years or so. £25 million will end up looking like a bargain – I’m sure of it.
His has technical ability in abundance and the way that he glides along the turf really is a special sight to see.
Total Football Analysis have labelled Scott as ‘incredible’. He has also been described as an excellent player by Bristol City’s official website.
Let’s hope that West Ham sign Alex Scott this summer. And according to Dharmesh Sheth, we are certainly still in the race for his signature.
