That’s according to new reports out of Italy and France which detail an emerging transfer domino effect that could be triggered involving West Ham striker Gianluca Scamacca and world superstar Kylian Mbappe.
West Ham actually beat Paris Saint-Germain to the signing of Scamacca last summer.
Now it is transfer activity at PSG which may well play a major role in whether the 6ft 5in Italian remains with the Hammers beyond this summer.

While West Ham’s £35m man Scamacca has – quite literally – been linked with a third of the clubs in Serie A, Mbappe has been making global headlines with his situation at PSG.
And the two could be intrinsically linked.

That’s according to reports from Gianluca Di Marzio and Le Parisien which claim a potential striker transfer triangle is emerging between West Ham, Juventus and PSG.
Transfer triangle domino effect involving West Ham man rests on Mbappe
Italian journalist Di Marzio claims Juventus want to sign Scamacca from West Ham to replace Dusan Vlahovic.
Because PSG have made enquiries to Juve about signing Vlahovic with the possibility Mbappe could leave – most likely for Real Madrid.
The reports state a domino effect hinges on Mbappe.
The French star is refusing to sign a new deal and PSG have publicly stated they will sell him this summer as a result because they refuse to let him leave for free next year.
Hammers will have to square the triangle if Scamacca does leave
So PSG are lining up a move to sign Vlahovic from Juve to fill the void. And those enquiries – it is claimed – has in turn seen the Italian club ask West Ham about Scamacca as they rival the likes of Roma.
Football Italia has also reported on the Mbappe-Vlahovic-Scamacca transfer triangle.
Should that series of events play out then West Ham will of course have to square off that triangle.
Because David Moyes will have to add more firepower to his side. Indeed it could be argued that is already needed even if Scamacca stays at the London Stadium.
