Nikola Vlasic has broken his silence and made it very clear that he wants to leave West Ham this summer.
West Ham owned Nikola Vlasic spent last season on loan with Torino, having struggled to impress for the Hammers after David Moyes brought him to the London Stadium from CSKA Moscow for around €28 million (£24 million) in the 2021 summer transfer window (The Athletic).

However, the Italians are believed to be offering just under £8 million for Vlasic – at least £3 million under the Hammers’ valuation.
Moyes never utilised Vlasic in his correct position during his time at the London Stadium. So it’s little wonder as to why things didn’t really work out for him. And now it’s quite clear to see that the former CSKA Moscow man will be on his way out of the club this summer…

Nikola Vlasic finally breaks silence about West Ham future
The 25-year-old is quite obviously trying to force his way out of the London Stadium before the transfer window slams shut.
Tuttosport quote the Croatia international as saying:
“I’m fed up with this dead-end situation. We all know, you first, that I’m not considered an important player here, I’m just one of many in the reserve group. This cannot be the solution. I’ve been telling you for two months that I want to play for Turin, that I no longer want to stay in West Ham under these conditions, on the sidelines, and also that my own family never wants to go back to live in England.”
There is clearly no future for Nikola Vlasic at West Ham after those comments.
However, that doesn’t mean that the Hammers should roll over and sell him to Torino on the cheap.
He’s an established international footballer, and there will surely be plenty of other clubs keen to sign him this summer.
There’s no reason why we can’t get at least £13 million for Vlasic this summer – the original purchase option held by Torino. It’s just such a shame that things never worked out for him at the London Stadium.
After those comments though, it will be in everyone’s best interest for him to move on before the transfer window closes.
