Liverpool and Fulham are both vying to sign Fluminense’s talented midfielder, Andre Trindade. The Reds have reportedly made an approach to secure the Brazilian youngster’s services, but they face competition from Fulham in the pursuit of the promising player.
According to journalist Ekrem Konur, Liverpool have initiated discussions with Fluminense regarding the potential signing of the 22-year-old midfielder.
The player is speculated to be moving to the Premier League if Liverpool can meet his parent club’s valuation of £20 million. The Brazilian club are reluctant to part ways with their star player until the January transfer window.
Furthermore, Liverpool are not the only club pursuing the Brazilian midfielder. Arsenal, Tottenham, West Ham, and Fulham are also reportedly interested in securing his services.
Trindade’s addition to the Liverpool squad would complement the team well and create a strong partnership with their recent signings, Mac Allister and Szoboszlai. The young Brazilian’s talent could be further enhanced by playing alongside these new recruits.
