West Ham wait with Zakaria leaving
It now appears that long term West Ham target, Denis Zakaria is finally about to leave Juventus.
The defensive midfielder, who spent last season on loan at Chelsea, has been much discussed as a potential Declan Rice replacement for the last couple of months or so as of course have many others.
Talks with Juventus have allegedly been going on for a good while now, with the Irons keen to buy or loan him.
He does however not have the best injury record, so if a move did take place it would probably be on a loan, with an option to buy basis.
According to Italian newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, Zakarias departure from Turin is imminent, following ‘positive’ talks over the weekend.
Whether he goes to West Ham is still in doubt as both AS Monaco and RB Leipzig are also reportedly interested in him.
