West Ham United management appear to be twiddling their thumbs as Manchester United close in on the signing of Sofyan Amrabat from Fiorentina.
According to a report from Firenze Viola, Manchester United are getting closer to Fiorentina’s €30 million (£25 million) asking price for West Ham target Sofyan Amrabat.

£25 million…for the 26-year-old Moroccan star…why on earth isn’t Hammers boss David Moyes all over this in the summer transfer window??
West Ham desperately need to sign an accomplished ball-winning, defensive midfielder, after Declan Rice left to join Arsenal earlier this summer.
There aren’t any better options out there for that role than Amrabat as far as I’m concerned. So unless he’s told us that he has no interest in moving to the London Stadium, the fact that we aren’t even in the race for his signature is truly baffling to me.

Firenze Viola reckon that Man United are now close to reaching an agreement with Fiorentina to sign the Morocco international for around £25 million.
What incredible value that will represent for the Red Devils.
The 26-year-old is a tenacious tackler, reads the game perfectly and provides a really strong layer of protection for his defenders.
He has been described as ‘world-class’ by Morocco coach Walid Regragui (Fabrizio Romano).
And Regragui clearly knows what he’s talking about. The Fiorentina ace proved during the World Cup with Morocco that he is capable of keeping the very best players in world football quiet.
Anyone remember that unbelievable tackle he made on Kylian Mbappe?
Quite brilliant.
Sofyan Amrabat is athletic, energetic, has stamina, pace and power in abundance and would be a superb signing for West Ham. Unfortunately for us, it seems like Manchester United are winning the race for his services.
And if we haven’t even tried to sign him, that’s unforgivable as far as I’m concerned.
