Hammers much the same for opening game
West Ham’s line-up against Bournemouth this weekend will have a very familiar look about it whether we bring in a new player of two or not!
We are told things are looking good on the Edson Alvarez switch from Ajax but given the manager’s usual methods he will be unlikely to play him immediately.
That’s not his way and given it seems unlikely any others will come through the doors we will be going into a game which already has a six pointer look with a very similar team as has finished the last two seasons.
Michail Antonio has had very little action in pre-season but is likely to start up top with Jarrod Bowen. Beyond that this is the team I expect the manager to field: Fabianski, Coufal, Zouma, Aguerd, Emerson; Soucek, Downes Paqueta, Benrahma .
Unlike the Hammers, the south coast side have made several signings and could include Hamed Junior Traore, formerly with Sassuolo, Milos Kerkez, AZ Alkamaar and Justin Kluivert, Roma.
