West Ham United are reportedly set to launch a fresh bid for Southampton captain James Ward-Prowse.
According to a report from the Evening Standard, Southampton skipper James Ward-Prowse is still firmly on the radar of West Ham in the summer transfer window.

The Standard reckon that the Saints have lowered their demands for the 28-year-old to just £35 million, and the Hammers could meet that asking price.
I actually think that’s slightly too much money to be paying for the 11-capped England international.
Having said that, his set-piece ability alone is usually good for at least 10 goals a season. And he would work very well in a midfield three alongside Alvarez and Lucas Paqueta.

His free-kick and corner taking technique has been described as ‘unreal’ (Give Me Sport), and was labelled as a ‘brilliant’ player by The Athletic.
James Ward-Prowse is a proper leader and a hard worker. In all fairness, that’s exactly what we need at West Ham right now.
And if we overpay for the 28-year-old by £5-10 million then so be it.
