However, we all know that Moyes needs to make at least three or four more top-class signings, if the Hammers are to be competitive on all fronts this season.
One player who has continually been linked with a move to the London Stadium already this summer is Chelsea midfielder Conor Gallagher, with West Ham thought to be confident of signing him.

West Ham now prioritising move to sign 23-year-old Englishman after Alvarez deal is done
According to a report from the Telegraph, Chelsea ace Conor Gallagher could be the next player through the door at the London Stadium after Edson Alvarez.
Imagine a midfield three of Gallagher, Alvarez and Lucas Paqueta. The quality of our football would be transformed overnight.
Whilst Gallagher would in no way be a like-for-like replacement for Declan Rice, he definitely would be a very strong addition to Moyes’s ranks at the London Stadium.
The 23-year-old has bundles of energy and stamina, is a very hard worker and possesses exceptional technical ability.
On face value, Gallagher possesses absolutely everything that David Moyes likes in a player.
And if the Chelsea ace becomes West Ham’s latest addition this summer, I’ll be more than happy. As long as we don’t pay over the odds for him of course.
