Wilfried Gnonto is training alone at Leeds United’s Thorp Arch as he pushes for a move to Everton.
The Italy international refused to play for Leeds last week in their Carabao Cup tie with Shrewsbury Town and said he still wasn’t in the right frame of mind to travel for their Championship game at Birmingham City on Saturday.
Leeds have told Gnonto they don’t want to sell him despite Everton making bids in excess of £15million earlier this summer.
That has upset the 19-year old and his representatives as he wants to return to the top-flight to stay in with a chance of retaining his place in the Italy squad for the European Championships.
Gnonto saw Everton sign his team-mate Jack Harrison on loan on Sunday but knows they remain keen to sign him too.

A frustrated Leeds manager Daniel Farke made it clear at the weekend that he only wanted to work with players committed to the cause so Gnonto is now working away from the first team group on his own to maintain his fitness.
Speaking after their 1-0 defeat at St Andrews, Farke said: ‘I want a group fully focused and committed. This club is bigger than any player or manager or board member. I’m not begging anyone ”Please play for us”. The club is too big.
‘If a player doesn’t want to be with us then they can train alone and use their own dressing room. I need players who are fully committed to defend the shirt.’
With Luis Sinisterra also making himself unavailable, Leeds had just seven players on the bench, including two goalkeepers, and Farke says he left others behind due to their attitude.
‘I have to feel you are fully committed. If I’m not happy with the training performance of a player I don’t pick him for the squad. I’d rather travel with three goalkeepers. I need to see commitment.’
