PSG are doing everything possible to lure Randal Kolo Muani into their nets. After obtaining the player’s agreement at the end of last week, the capital club contacted Eintracht Frankfurt to snatch the signature of the former FC Nantes striker. After having suffered a first refusal, Luis Campos went back on the attack with a second offer of 70 M€ accompanied by various bonuses.
But the matter is far from simple. The German club, which had picked up the tricolor striker free of any contract from FC Nantes, does not intend to part so easily with its best player who delighted so much last season (23 goals and 14 assists in 46 matches TCC in 2022-23) and who has already proved decisive by scoring the only goal of the match against Darmstadt.
Frankfurt’s response is expected by PSG
Asked after the victory of his training, the coach of Kolo Muani, Dino Toppmöller was full of praise for his player. “The fact that he scored the goal at the end and helped us again, like last week, by making it 1-0, of course we are very happy that he is there. I can’t tell you right now how long he will be there. I’d rather say he’s here for a while yet. But as I said, you mentioned it correctly, the first offer has arrived. Let’s wait and see. But I have full confidence in our sports directors. They will have all the cards in hand. And ultimately, of course, it’s also an economic issue for the club. We work with the players who are with us today. Colo is there. We are very happy that he is here. We hope he stays a bit longer and scores more goals for us.”.
It remains to know the response of Eintracht Frankfurt to this new Parisian offensive. One thing is certain, this latest offer demonstrates the desire of the reigning French champions to complete the operation by September 1. If he arrives in Paris, the former Nantes player would push Hugo Ekitike a little more towards the exit, but would once again show PSG’s real desire to Frenchify its workforce a little more. We could thus have neither more nor less than the attack of the French team with Mbappé, Kolo Muani and Dembelé.
