Everton boss Sean Dyche insists MSP Sports Capital’s withdrawal from exclusivity talks will NOT impact his ability to bolster Toffees’ squad
Sean Dyche insists the collapse of the potential investment deal from MSP Sports Capital won’t impact his bid to bolster his Everton squad before the transfer window closes.
New York-based MSP had an exclusivity agreement with Everton but withdrew after opposition from another of the club’s existing lenders.
Cash-strapped Everton remain in discussions with other potential investors but any injection of capital will not help Dyche, who has had a limited budget since arriving in January due to the club’s over-spending in previous seasons.

The Toffees are currently bottom of the league after losing their first two games of the season
Losses of £430million over the past five years have forced Everton to tread a financial tightrope to avoid falling foul of Premier League spending rules — they already face a hearing in October over one alleged breach.
Dyche (below) said: ‘It (the withdrawal of MSP) doesn’t really impact what the reality is in terms of signing players.
‘We know we’ve got to work hard in the market, we know we’ve got to find ways of creating deals and making them happen — we haven’t just got pots of gold. We knew that from the start when I got the job.’
Everton have had a £12m bid for Southampton’s Che Adams turned down and Dyche is not optimistic about solving his desperate need to sign a striker.
