The young defender’s move is the latest step in a promising career that has already seen significant playing time across various clubs.
Millwall Football Club expressed delight over the signing of Brooke Norton-Cuffy on loan from Arsenal until the end of the 2023/24 season. This move makes Norton-Cuffy, the 19-year-old right-back, Gary Rowett’s sixth signing of the summer transfer window.
This loan move to Millwall will be Brooke’s fourth within a year, reflecting both his talent and versatility. He previously played on loan for Lincoln City, Rotherham United, and Coventry City, amassing a total of 45 appearances across these clubs.
In his early career, Norton-Cuffy first captured attention with his brilliant displays while on loan at League One side Lincoln City in 2022. His progression continued with an impressive run at Coventry City, where he contributed significantly to the club’s journey to the Championship play-off final.
Additionally, Brooke was part of the England under-19 side that clinched the European Championships in the summer of 2022. His international experience further enriches his profile as a young footballer with potential.
Millwall’s Director of Football Operations and Recruitment, Alex Aldridge, stated, “We are delighted to welcome Brooke to the club. He is held in very high regard by Arsenal – both as a player and as a character – and he has exciting attributes that we feel can really strengthen Gary’s squad.”
