Fred joined Fenerbahce for £13million in August after five seasons at Old Trafford
‘I think Altay is going to be very happy at Manchester United.’
Bayindir was seen waving to Fenerbache supporters after their Europa Conference League win against FC Twente last Thursday.
A £4.25million transfer has been agreed between United and the Turkish club, with United officials travelling to Greece last week to seal the deal.
The 25-year-old made 40 appearances in all competitions last term as Fenerbache finished second in the Turkish Super Lig and won the Turkish Cup.
Bayindir captained his side to that success last term and has also won five caps for Turkey.

His arrival will allow Henderson to complete a £20million switch to Selhurst Park.
The one-cap England international spent last season on loan at Nottingham Forest but is now set for a permanent move away from Old Trafford.
Palace have been in the market for a new goalkeeper since Vicente Guaita expressed his desire to return to Spain.
Sam Johnstone has started their opening three games of the Premier League season, and will now have competition from Henderson for a place between the sticks.
