There have been plenty of Arsenal players called up for their senior national teams this month, it’s worth mentioning a couple of the absentees.
Jorginho won’t be involved with Italy, with Luciano Spalletti explaining that the midfielder was left out because he’s not getting enough minutes with Arsenal.
Fabio Vieira and Nuno Tavares have been regulars with the Portugal u21s over the last few years, but both have now aged out and weren’t selected by the senior side.
Mohamed Elneny, Jurrien Timber, and Thomas Partey have all missed out on the break through injury.
