In the middle of September, PSG has just acquired a very last reinforcement for its first team.
Another new face at PSG. And this one, no one saw it coming. While we thought recruitment was complete, the Ile-de-France club had one last acquisition. It’s within its women’s section. Paris has signed one of the stars of the last World Cup, in this case Clare Hunt.
An Australian in Paris
Aged 24, this Australian defender arrives from Western Sydney Wanderers where she has been playing since 2021. International since last February, she already has 13 caps with the “Matildas”. She will undoubtedly be a great contribution to the team coached by Gérard Prêcheur.
THE @PSG_Feminines is pleased to announce the arrival of Clare Hunt for the next three seasons. ✍️
The Australian international is now linked to the Club until June 30, 2026.

Hunt, however, does not arrive on conquered territory. In the French capital, it will face stiff competition. Paris is already well equipped in defense, with only internationals in its ranks.
As a reminder, the PSG women’s team began its domestic season with a defeat against OL in the Champions Trophy. On the continental scene, however, it started on a good note by defeating Arsenal in the Champions League.
