Michael Olise has suffered another hamstring injury and is now expected to be unavailable for the significant future, according to reports.
The Crystal Palace winger is yet to feature this season after being side-lined with a hamstring tear that he suffered while on international duty with the France Under-21 side in June.
He had been recovering well and was nearing a return in what would have been a huge boost to Palace boss Roy Hodgson but is now set to miss further games, as reported by the Evening Standard.
Olise has aggravated the hamstring injury during his rehabilitation and is expected to be out of action until after the October international break.
The 21-year-old will continue to be assessed by Palace as they assess the extent of his injury and attempt to determine a timescale of when he will be available for selection.
