Premier League clubs have a strong interest in Leeds United trio Wilfried Gnonto, Ethan Ampadu and Crysencio Summerville ahead of the January transfer window, sources have told Football Insider.
The Whites plan to resist offers for the three stars in the mid-season window as they are considered crucial to their promotion bid.
Gnonto, 19, is wanted by Everton and two other Premier League outfits – with the Toffees failing to land the Italy international in the most recent summer window.
Ampadu, 23, and Summerville, 22, also feature highly on the wanted list of top-flight clubs.
The trio have all contributed as Leeds vie to return to the Premier League at the first time of asking following their relegation at the end of the 2022-23 campaign.
Daniel Farke’s side sit third in the second-tier table after 14 games – of which Leeds have won seven and drawn four.
The Whites next game is a crucial clash with runaway leaders Leicester City on Friday (3 November), with the Foxes already 14 points clear of the play-off places.
Summerville has been crucial for Farke and Leeds so far in the 2023-24 campaign.
The ex-Feyenoord star has managed six goals and four assists across 11 Championship appearances this term.
He has played both on the right and left flank for the Yorkshire giants.
Meanwhile, summer signing Ampadu is being lined up for yet another spell in the Premier League.
The Wales international has played every minute of all 14 Championship games this term in a defensive midfield role.
He has had a previous spell at Sheffield United in the top-flight which ended with their relegation in 2021.
Gnonto has had a more limited role for Leeds this term, making just eight Championship appearances and scoring once.
He went public with his desire to secure a move away from Elland Road in the summer but was eventually re-integrated into the first-team after being excluded by Farke and the club.
