It might be weird saying this, but things are looking pretty straightfoward in the Championship so far.
The top four have more or less cemented themselves. Southampton haven’t lost a game since September.
So it looks like we’ll be seeing a long, long race for the final two spots in the top six (of course with the major caveat that any of the top four can crash). Perhaps the club most intriguing right now is West Bromwich Albion.
He was a high-profile addition to the league upon joining the Baggies, after previously managing Olympiacos.
I wish I could provide a better analysis of his influence on WBA, but instead you’ll have to settle for this Telegraph ($) article instead.
The bottom of the table hasn’t changed at all last time we checked: QPR, Rotherham and Sheffield Wednesday remain there. And it’ll probably stay that way for some time.
As of this writing, Harry Winks is at the top of the table.
