good morning good morning !
December started on November 24, but let’s pretend for a minute it starts today.
Because, according to the Gregorian calendar, it does.
And this is a tough month. Let’s be real, it’s gonna be a toughie. At least it’s the holiday season.
Tottenham Hotspur men:
Call ‘em the band of misfit toys, because Ange Postecoglou is going to need lots of tape to put this team together. Spurs outcast Gio Lo Celso appears to have played his way into the squad after an incalculable amount of injuries.
Spurs play seven matches this month, starting with City. Ooph!
And, what’s this? No Boxing Day match? What are we to do? We have to wait until the 28th to watch them play against Brighton, by which time all the other fans will have already been miserable for three whole days.
Tottenham Hotspur men’s schedule: at Manchester City (3 Dec), West Ham (7 Dec), Newcastle (10 Dec), at Forest (15 Dec), Everton (23 Dec), at Brighton (28 Dec), Bournemouth (31 Dec).
Tottenham Hotspur women:
Do you remember the whole ‘tough month’ thing I mentioned at the top? Well, it applies just as much to the women as it does the men.
Count em – not one, but TWO North London Derbies. One is the WSL Cup, the other the league. We’ve gotta tune in. We have to.
There are better Tottenham Hotspur women fans out there, so I’m not going to pretend to know what I’m talking about.
From what I’ve seen, they’re off to a pretty good start (6-0 loss to City notwithstanding).
Spurs sit midtable, which is better than last year. I call that an improvement.
Speaking of improvement, I should get better at watching the women’s squad. COYS
Tottenham Hotspur women’s schedule: Man United (10 Dec), at Arsenal (13 Dec), Arsenal (16 Dec).
