Chelsea boss Mauricio Pochettino has had an up and down time really so far as Chelsea manager.
But one thing that cannot be questioned is the effect he is having on a young group of players, who all speak very highly on him and seem to really respect and put their trust in him. They seem to have built up a nice rapport as a group.
Pochettino is known for being a top man-manager, especially when it comes to working with young players who do not have egos and are just wanting to work hard. That is certainly this group of Chelsea players.
Insider Ben Jacobs has some really interesting information on what Pochettino has specifically been doing with Moises Caicedo, Mykhailo Mudryk, and Cole Palmer today in his exclusive Chelsea column for SPTC.

– Chelsea to add to multi-club model – The plans
– Pochettino will have pre-planned review

“The big difference also between Pochettino and [Graham] Potter is the former commands the dressing room,” Jacobs wrote.
“The players are enjoying his methods. Mudryk is settling better in part because Pochettino is focusing on one-on-one time with him and squad integration, Caicedo is utilising the open-door policy, and Cole Palmer is being encouraged to lead on and off the field despite being new and only 21. This is something he relishes as well.
“In fact several young players, including Nicolas Jackson, feel trusted by Pochettino. That’s important and hasn’t gone unnoticed around Cobham.”
It’s amazing to hear things like this and you can see the positive effects that Pochettino is having on some of these players, albeit in drips and drabs. But that will only grow.
