Nicolas Jackson was picked up front for Chelsea yesterday despite Armando Broja pushing hard for a chance, and Jackson had a good game against Brighton.
It was his usual fare – hard running, battling under high balls and trying to run in behind.
What we liked most of all was the moment where he played the pass to Mykhailo Mudryk on the counter which led to the penalty.
All too often (including in this game) we’ve seen him mess up counter attacks through poor or simply slow decision making. In this case, he got it just right.
