We’ve been watching Chelsea’s Matchday Unseen footage from Sunday’s win over Brighton back, and noticed something amusing.
As the Blues score their second goal, Levi Colwill, who has headed the ball at goal, falls to his knees with his head in his hands. He thinks his effort has been cleared off the line, and that he’s missed out on his first goal for the club.
While he despairs, Axel Disasi is racing onto the rebound. He catches it well, but blasts it wide from just yards out. He then also has his head in his hands. But while two Chelsea players are aghast, the referee checks his watch gives the goal, and both are taken from agony to ecstasy.
Of course, things get even funnier when Colwill starts celebrating wildly, only to realise he’s scored against his former team.
