Chelsea’s 4-1 win against Tottenham felt like it might have changed the Blues’ season. Instead, looking back, it did more that was negative to Spurs than it was positive to us.
Tottenham lost players like Micky van de Ven to injury, and two players to suspension. They’ve lost every game since that one, and it’s looking like we may have decisively broken the confidence in “Ange-ball” as well as taking several defenders out of the picture.
Spurs are now in dire straits at the back, and Football Insider are reporting that they may have to come to Chelsea for help.
Trevoh Chalobah has spent the whole season so far out injured, but is readying himself for a January return, and it sounds like Tottenham will be front of the queue trying to pick up the 22 year old on the cheap.
We hate to see our players go to our deadly rivals, but in Trevoh’s case, we just want to see the best for him.
