Chelsea are in a dire situation right now, and one of the few comforts in that situation is watching Simon Jordan be completely wrong.
He spent all summer defender Todd Boehly and the rest of our ownership, insisting that the money we’ve spent would eventually make us good, and that we would make the top four.
Today he was asked to go back over his thoughts from the summer, and it’s funny to watch him squirm – although he basically takes it all out on Mauricio Pochettino.
Club owners are all the same in the end really – they think that the players are all as good as the money they spent, and that managers are the ones to blame if results don’t match the spending.
