Is Bayern Munich exploring loan possibilities for goalkeeper Daniel Peretz? Journalist Sacha Tavolieri has a report indicating as much:
Belgian side Anderlecht are in talks with Bayern over a loan move for Daniel Peretz. The goalkeeper is keen on the move. Several meetings have already taken place and talks are still ongoing. Deal wouldn’t include an option to buy.
Nieuwsblad Sport (via @iMiaSanMia) also captured information on the situation:
Anderlecht are interested in a loan move for Daniel Peretz, but it will depend on the future of Kasper Schmeichel, whose contract with the Belgian club expires this summer.
It would not be the worst thing in the world for Peretz to be in an environment where he can get substantial playing time. With Manuel Neuer and Sven Ulreich in tow, Bayern Munich just does not need Peretz at the moment (and maybe not for the future either as Alexander Nübel re-upped with the club).
Bayer Leverkusen defender Jonathan Tah has been linked to Bayern Munich in recent weeks and Sky Sport journo Florian Plettenberg has the latest news:

It’s finally here…Bayern Munich vs. Real Madrid in the Champions League…but now it’s the second leg.
With the tie knotted at 2-2, every second of this match will be hotly contested. Both squads…and both fan bases will be seeking to leave nothing to chance. Real Madrid will hold the mystique in Santiago Bernabéu Stadium, but Bayern Munich will have the drive and desire of needing to salvage what has been a lost season. Can they do it?
Let’s find out. This is what we have on tap for this edition of the Bavarian Podcast Works — Preview Show:

Didi Hamann has perused the list of candidates for several clubs and there is one match he does not think would be made in heaven — José Mourinho and Liverpool FC.
“Well, I could see a lot. Tuchel came to Bayern, everybody thought this is it for the next five years. They’ll be successful. Six months later they decided they’re going to part ways at the end of the season. So, you never know whether it’s going to work out unless people are there. Same at Liverpool, there were managers there, Brendan Rodgers and it didn’t really work out,” Hamann told Free Bets. “So, would Mourinho be my first choice? Probably not because of the young players at the football club. I think it would be very entertaining though, I’ve got huge respect for him. I think he’s a brilliant manager.
“And if he comes to Liverpool, I think what you need in Liverpool, you need somebody who appreciates what he’s got and who understands the people. That’s always been a big part of Mourinho’s philosophy. So he wouldn’t be my first choice but there’s only so many managers out there who have the qualities needed to succeed.
“Liverpool is a big club and Mourinho has worked at some of the biggest clubs in world football. He’s also won at the top level. Unlike other names floated about, he certainly wouldn’t be scared of succeeding in Klopp. He wouldn’t be intimidated by that.”
Bayern Munich traveled to VfB Stuttgart for a Bundesliga match, which was the focus for the weekend, but with a date with Real Madrid in the Champions League on the horizon, things were always going to be dicey for the German Rekordmeister.
Head coach Thomas Tuchel had injuries to account for, worries about wear-and-tear on key players, and just overall how to best keep his team fit for Wednesday’s UCL showdown.
As expected, it was not easy and VfB Stuttgart would come away with a somewhat unlikely 3-1 victory over the Bavarians. There is plenty to discuss, so let’s get down to it on this edition of the Bavarian Podcast Works Postgame Show:
- A look at Thomas Tuchel’s starting XI.
- A rundown of the scoring and substitutions.
- If this was an audition for Chris Führich, he did well for himself

- Where things stand heading into Bayern Munich’s Champions League showdown with Real Madrid.
Borussia Dortmund wants to keep Manchester United loanee Jadon Sancho, but it could prove to be difficult given the financial expectations of the Red Devils:
⚫️ News #Sancho | Borussia Dortmund want to keep Jadon Sancho next season! However, a permanent deal is currently unlikely and not affordable / #BVB
➡️ There is the plan of loaning him out again for another year. Dortmund also hopes that Sancho will clearly decide for Borussia Dortmund, to facilitate talks with Manchester United!
Sporting Director Sebastian Kehl confirms @welt: „His qualities don’t need to be described. He has regained his smile in the six months with us. We will try everything. But Manchester United also sees how well he is playing at the moment. Maybe they also want to sell him for profit. Or bring him back.“ #MUFC
Sky Sport journalist Patrick Berger also had some information on the matter:
Borussia Dortmund want to loan out Jadon Sancho again, as already reported. #BVB Sports Director Sebastian Kehl told Welt: “We’ll try everything to keep Jadon Sancho here. His qualities don’t need to be described.” ⚫️

Chelsea FC might want to include Romelu Lukaku in a deal for Napoli’s Vc
Chelsea are willing to include Romelu Lukaku in a players-plus-cash deal to sign Victor Osimhen from Napoli, though the Serie A side also want a young player included on top of a £77m transfer fee.
