According to a report from kicker (as captured by @iMiaSanMia), the respective health situations of Bayern Munich stars Leroy Sané and Serge Gnabry are becoming clear heading into the team’s upcoming games against VfB Stuttgart (Bundesliga) and Real Madrid (Champions League).
With such daunting match-ups, the Bavarians will surely want two of their key attacking players healthy ASAP. The timelines for each player are a bit different, but could see them in good shape for next week:
Leroy Sané will not play against Stuttgart on Saturday and will be given another rest to further recover from his pubic bone problems. Tuchel will not take any risks with Jamal Musiala either.
Following his comeback from a hamstring strain, Serge Gnabry will step up his fitness this week for a potential starting eleven spot against Real Madrid next week.
A win against Stuttgart would be nice, but clearly everyone is focused on Real Madrid. Knowing that, Thomas Tuchel will follow the guidance of his medical staff to ensure that both players are handled with care and ready to go when needed.
