According to an earlier report from Sport Bild journalists Christian Falk and Tobi Altschäffl (as captured by @iMiaSanMia), Hansi Flick is now back on Bayern Munich’s radar for its soon-to-be vacant head coaching position.
Now, there are some indications that if Flick is rehired he could potentially bring back some familiar faces:
Hansi Flick is open to a return to Bayern. For him the club is something special and important. A Flick comeback would also mean the return of Toni Tapalović, who was not only a goalkeeping coach but also one of Flick’s assistants. Tapalović would also have joined Barcelona if Flick had ended up there. Current goalkeeping coach Michael Rechner would keep his role at the club regardless of Tapalović.
While Tapalović was the only coach specifically mentioned, Hermann “Tiger” Gerland and Miroslav Klose could also be candidates to return. Each coach has a different level of experience and formed a very strong coaching unit during Flick’s initial time at the helm in Bavaria. Would the sextuple-winner seek to bring them all back for another run?
