The glory moment this Saturday was of course lifting the winning trophy. A very special title winning it for the 8th time and at this point the most winning team of this division all time.
Lovely to see the players, the owner, the manager and the administration, the coaching staff all in there with their families, celebrating together with fans and also a lot of former stars of this football club. To get back up to the Premier League on the first attempt feels fantastic.
This is one to cherish and of course fantastic feeling after three great wins, everyone were waiting for this moment to happen and again over the full season, a grand and fantastic achievement, we would not have changed it for anything at this point, being in this situation.
The special day started with the Scandinavian Branch handing over their player of the year award, then having meetings with Alan Birchenall being as lively as always and of course that special happening handing over the player of the year award to Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall.
Sadly to see Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall not being able to play the game, if he had been on the field we might have seen a different outcome as his importance and brilliance was missed today, anyway getting this meeting with him is one memory to cherish.
Bumping into Mike Stringfellow (81) at the Holliday Inn Express after the game was of course also one for the story books as the former Leicester star with 315 league appearances to count as well as 82 goals could of course not go unnoticed inside the bar with so many Leicester fans in there.
Mike Stringfellow had his influence when Leicester got promoted in the 1970/71 season also that season coming up as winners, with the attacking flank man playing 12 games in total, being a bit on the fringe in his last years, playing at Leicester from 1962 to 1975. Good memories on a day when you have these celebrations.
Shinji Okazaki was also among the spectators on the day, celebrating with his former teammates out on the field after the game, getting a good reunion hug from Jamie Vardy.
Again well deserved, well done and happy for everyone, as Leicester next season will play in Premier League, the place to be and hopefully be able to stay as the club is build and should be among the top teams in this country, but as we all know, no guarantee for anything in football.
