The Bayern Munich job is supposed to be one of the biggest jobs in world football. Such an enticing job that anyone would jump for once they were offered the position. That is unfortunately not the case as multiple coaches have rejected the chance to manage the six-time Champions League winners, with Stuttgart coach Sebastian Hoeneß the next person to slam the door on the Rekordmeister.
“I’ve already been asked about that, but nothing has changed,” Hoeneß said (Bild as captured by Twitter account @iMiaSanMia). “FC Bayern is an exceptional club, they will certainly find a good solution.” That sounds like the meme where the boss is asking for more guys to chip in but the response he got was “good luck with that.”
Some of the candidates remaining on the market (who are either not looked at or have not outright turned down Bayern’s approaches) are Ruben Amorim (who ended up not going to Liverpool FC), Jose Mourinho, Zinedine Zidane, and Roberto De Zerbi.
