Real Madrid star Toni Kroos is happy to be at home for tonight’s Champions League semifinal, but does not expect Bayern Munich to bothered by the crowd.
“You don’t have to do the math. That’s what we always want — to play in finals. And this game is nothing other than a final. Of course we’re trying to use the fact that we have a home game as an advantage. I hope that will be an advantage. But at this level it’s rare for another team to be intimidated to the point that they can’t play their football,” Kroos said during an appearance on “Podcast Einfach mal Luppen” (via @iMiaSanMia).
Kroos will likely be an integral figure (again) for Real Madrid against his former club. With a date against Borussia Dortmund in the final at Wembley Stadium at stake, it is certain that Kroos will be doing everything he can to take down the Bavarians.
