Our predicted MUFC XI for the huge Champions League home game vs Bayern Munich is now in…
Manchester United Football Club are staring down the barrel of a brutal Champions League exit. Five games, three losses. A home match against Bayern Munich is in the offing, though the Red Devils also need help from elsewhere.
Erik ten Hag can only worry about the job he has to do. The Old Trafford crowd will no doubt fully get behind their players here, though winning this match will be incredibly difficult.
The gaffer has some pretty big decisions to make in regard to his team selection, as naming the right side here could be absolutely crucial to any potential success.
Say United do come out on top here, I still think the most likely scenario is that the Reds drop down into the Europa League as I just don’t see Galatasaray and Copenhagen playing out a draw when both sides need the win.
Anyway, without further ado, let’s give you the full run down of the line-up.
Check out our predicted MUFC XI vs Bayern Munich in full here:
Andre Onana does keep his place in between the sticks here, with the man from Cameroon looking to get over his European hoodoo.
Aaron Wan-Bissaka comes in at the right-back slot after some poor Diogo Dalot displays of late. Sergio Reguilon plays in the left-back position. Once again, this means a shift to centre-half for Luke Shaw alongside Harry Maguire.
Sofyan Amrabat will play in midfield here, with Kobbie Mainoo coming back into the side after a couple of matches on the bench. Bruno Fernandes starts in the number ten role, with the creativity firmly on his shoulders.
Rasmus Hojlund was benched in favour of Anthony Martial over the weekend, which felt like a weird decision at the time. The Dane should come back in here. To his right and left respectively you have to keep the faith in Antony and Alejandro Garnacho. Both of whom are putting in the required effort.
