Talks of a Donny van de Beek loan move to Germany are progressing, though his wages could become a problem…
Earlier today, we covered a claim from Fabrizio Romano, who provided the latest update in regard to a possible loan move away for forgotten man, Donny van de Beek.
The Dutch midfielder has fallen completely out of favour ever since moving to Old Trafford, looking like a shadow of the man we witnessed at Ajax under Erik ten Hag.
Van de Beek became the latest in a long line of expensive players to struggle at the Theatre of Dreams. Shock horror…
More and more sources are now picking up on these claims, with Christian Falk sharing his most recent information via Twitter/X.
He states that talks for a loan deal for the United player are now ‘getting hot’, with Eintracht Frankfurt still leading the charge.
However, his high salary could become an issue, as the Bundesliga club cannot afford his £6m-a-year wages.
Check out Christian Falk’s tweet on the Donny van de Beek news here:
Talks for a loan deal of Donny van de Beek (26) @ManUtd to @Eintracht Frankfurt are getting hot. Talking Point: the high salary of van de Beek at United of estimated €7 Mio, Eintracht can‘t pay

We all know how this one plays out… United will end up subsidising these wages, giving Van de Beek a large amount of his weekly earnings, while he plays for another club…
It’s a sad situation, but one United have put themselves in time and time again recently. The Dutchman’s current deal does not expire until 2025, so I fully expect Van de Beek will be farmed out on loan to various clubs over the next eighteen months, before the Old Trafford side eventually let him go for nothing.
