Arsenal and Chelsea have been handed a potential blow with Nottingham Forest unlikely to sell Murillo on the cheap.
Forest were recently docked four points after being found guilty of breaching the Profitability and Sustainability rules.
This could force them to offload some high-profile players this summer in order to avoid a future points deduction.
Murillo is one of those who has been touted to leave, but The Telegraph claim that Forest will make it tough for suitors.
Forest are expected to demand more than £50 million for the 21-year-old, who was signed for just £12m last summer.
The former Corinthians centre-back has been hugely impressive in his debut season with several stand-out displays.
Murillo has caught the eye with his clearances and aerial presence in the box. It is left to be seen whether he leaves the club.
In the short term, Forest have something else to worry about. They are currently in the drop zone after the points deduction.
