Sports Mole takes on Kerr Okan of The LaFontaines for a Premier League predictions challenge in gameweek 37 of the 2023-24 season.
While some teams still have games in hand to play, this weekend will see the penultimate official gameweek of the 2023-24 Premier League season, with plenty still left to be decided.
Manchester City get things underway at Fulham, where a win would send them back to the top of the table until at least Sunday, when Arsenal visit Manchester United in the headline match of the weekend.
Dropped points for either could prove decisive in the title race with so little time left in the campaign, and this weekend could also see time run out for two relegation battlers.
Should results go against them this weekend then both Burnley and Luton Town could be relegated, completing a full house of promoted sides suffering immediate returns back to the Championship.
The curtain comes down on gameweek 37 on Monday night, when Jurgen Klopp takes charge of his penultimate match as Liverpool manager away to an Aston Villa side on the brink of qualifying for the Champions League.
Each gameweek, Sports Mole is taking on a famous musician or band in a prediction competition, and this week it is the turn of Kerr Okan of The LaFontaines.

Kerr Okan Q&A
How did you come to support Manchester United and what are your favourite memories from your time as a fan?
Like it is for many of us, it was passed down to me through family. My dad was a United supporter, so I became one too. I got my first shirt after Beckham scored the half way line goal against Wimbledon in the 96-97 season, and that was me hooked.
My favourite memory will forever be the treble in ’99. To win the Champions League final in the fashion we did, to have a season like we had that year and to cement the class of ’92 in history – it will forever be my number one.
Who have been your favourite five players for your club?
Roy Keane, David Beckham, Ruud van Nistelrooy, Paul Scholes, Jaap Stam
What’s going on with the band at the moment?
We have our brand new single out on May 14 ‘Since You Made A Move’ with probably the funniest video we’ve ever shot too – and if you know anything about our videos that’s saying something. This tune feels like the Sound Of The Summer, so we are buzzing to get it out there!
You can preorder our brand new album ‘Business As Usual’ now – dropping June 14, plus come and see us on a bunch of live dates next month. As the season comes to a close, we’ll provide the entertainment over the summer… along with Scotland in the Euros of course.
Check out ‘The LaFontaines’ latest single ‘Business As Usual’, available on all digital streaming platforms now.
You can follow The LaFontaines on Instagram and X (formerly known as Twitter).
